Are your dishes food safe?

Yes, all my pieces are food safe. They are also made with lead free glazes.

Is your work dishwasher & microwave safe?

YES, but hand washing can extend the life of your pottery.

Are your dishes oven safe?

NO.

How do you make your work?

Most of my work is made on the potters wheel. Some of my work is made using slabs or a combination of the two.

Do you have anyone who helps you?

No, every piece is made by me from start to finish.

How hot do you you fire your kiln?

I do two firings: The first one is called bisque; that temperature goes to approximately 1900 degrees Fahrenheit. The second firing is when the glaze has been applied to the piece. This firing goes to over 2200 degrees Fahrenheit.

Do you do custom orders?

No—it can get too complicated, and I don’t want to disappoint anyone.
